I just tested by adding "new_" in front of your DDS file (legio pontic) and it works fine.
In the meantime you have made a correction and now, without changing anything, it also works.
Magnificent this Pontic Legionaire unit. I integrated it manually as I do with all Unit Mods. That way, I can use them all together without the risk of crashing. Thank you !
Maybe you should add "new_" to the DDS files so that the game does not confuse them with the original files. I saw this in another Mod and I understood why he did it.
It just added "new_" in front of the unit name in the "descr_model_battle" file and in front of the corresponding unit's DDS file name.
Example for the "descr_model_battle" file: texture pontus, data / characters / textures / new_greek_heavy_peltast_pontus.tga
However, the .tga files do not need to be changed as they are in separate folders for each faction.
