Description
After the new Teshla model went rogue, Melon Husk sends his assistant to find it. Travel all over Altis, fight enemies, take loot, and, most important, find Teshla and return it home. Featuring:
- Open-world adventure: travel anywhere you want;
- Special locations with loot, but the best loot is not always visible, so search thoroughly;
- A lot of enemies to fight (or to avoid - up to you);
- Special monitoring stations to track Teshla;
- Safehouses for you to resupply and recruit new teammates;
- Teshla self-driving car (it will be in a random location each time)

Briefing
- Watch the intro, don't skip it. It provides a strong narrative to the mission.
- Find Teshla
- Blow up Teshla or disable it
- If you disable Teshla, drive it back to the warehouse
- Try not to kill civilians in the process (optional)

If you like this mission, see all my missions here. If you like this kind of missions (looking for missing vehicles), check out my mission "Helicopter Missing". Also, many people like "Don't mess with the press 2" mission - check it out.

Some tips for you
- DON'T SKIP THE INTRO!
- IMPORTANT STUFF! Don't quit when you die. Better load your last savegame and then quit when you're still alive. This way, the game will make an exitsave properly. Because there have been incidents of people "losing" their savegames, but even if that happens, the savegames are still not really lost. If that appens to you by accident, go to the savegames directory, find the folder of this mission, find your last saved game and rename it to how exitsaves are named. And this is actually an ARMA behavior, it's not unique to my mission.
- In the beginning, a bit of lag is possible, but wait it out - the performance will improve after a few seconds.
- To find out how this mission works, read the help section inside the mission. Read it thoroughly, it's important.
- Note that the monitoring stations don't require you to clear out enemies around them. So, it's just up to you whether you want to fight it out or just quickly build a monitoring station and run away.
- If your vehicle gets destroyed, you can find new vehicles in the towns, or around some houses.
- Best loot is usually hidden well, so search thoroughly.
- Find a GPS. You can find one in some safehouses or special locations.
- In some special locations you can get a UAV. This might help you to locate Teshla.
- If Teshla sees you, it will run.
- When two or more monitoring stations pick up Teshla's EM emissions, its location will become visible on the map.
- Each monitoring station's range is 4 km.
- When a monitoring station picks up Teshla's EM signature, the marker on the map will become an arrow, pointing towards the Teshla's location.
- In safehouses, you can rest, save your game, skip time, heal fully and sometimes recruit new teammates. Some teammates are unique characters.
- You carry a portable EM emissions detector, which will start beeping when you get within 1 km distance from Teshla. As you approach Teshla, the beeping frequency will increase.

very repetitive but nice

Actually, you just need to be a bit careful about where you going, maybe scout the location in advance to see where the enemies are and always look at your map and have a plan ready in your head where you're gonna go, because, sometimes when you have to make a split second decision where you have to turn while the enemies are shooting at you, you can't afford to be confused. At least that's how I play this mission. And, oh yeah, save often.

Yeah, well, AI is gonna die a lot. You can get some extra teammates in some safehouses. Although I've set AI skill to 100 to most of your friendly AI, still they're more useful as targets tyo deflect your enemy's attention. Anyway, I tested this out and didn't find it too difficult. You actually don't have to fight every single enemy and whatching where you're going before you actually go there might help save your AI teammates. As for the monitoring stations, some of them are occupied by enemies, but in most of them, although there are some enemies around, you can establish the stations and just run away ASAP.

Amazingly imaginative scenario! I found it too difficult trying to keep my AI alive though and didn't make it to the second "X".

Updated. Reduced dynamic simulation distance to improve performance.

Updated. The performance should be very slighly better now.

Well, that's really interesting...

No ,
only civilians inside the doom in one of Enemy HQ s.
voveraitis  [author] 3 Jun, 2021 @ 11:38pm
anyway, did you encounter angry constrution workers?
voveraitis  [author] 3 Jun, 2021 @ 9:40pm
Yeah, well, If I reduced the number of enemies, you wouldn't have anything to shoot at. Performance, I know, could be better, but I tried my best to solve it. It's often an issue in such big missions. Anyway, it's just when driving cars very fast, then it's a bit laggy, but when you're on foot, it's all acceptable.
