Description
This is a tool for mappers.

Hello!
This addon is made to help mappers include machineguns like this into their maps. I've developed these machineguns for my two upcoming objective maps. Feel free to use them on any of your maps/projects, and add me for help if something is wrong/doesn't work.

The emplacement guns have two variants.

The M60, which has a good rate of fire. It needs to be reloaded to be used, and has 50 bullets in the magazine.
The M2 Browning Mount, which has a slightly lower rate of fire. It does not need to be reloaded, but it can overheat if it's fired for prolonged periods of time.

Known bug:

The machinegun can also be used behind the player. There's no good way to fix this, as far as I can tell.

How to use this:
The map's name is nmo_turrettest_final. You can launch this map to test out the turrets yourselves.

If you want to use this on your map, you need to first get a program called Pakrat.
The .vmf file of this map, and the content (m60 and m2 browning model and textures) are embedded into the bsp(nmo_turrettest_final.bsp) . You can use Pakrat to obtain the model files and the .vmf

Afterwards, place the model files in their pakrat corresponding location.

Another way to obtain the .vmf is to use BSPSource, but this doesn't give you the models and materials. It is better to use pakrat.

After you've obtained the .vmf, you can open it in hammer. I've grouped all the entities of each machinegun. It is enough to select which one you want and copy paste it on your map.

IMPORTANT ! !

In hammer, there are purple entities in front of each machinegun. You must copythe corresponding trigger_vphysics_motion entity on your map, and resize it to cover the entire map.

IF YOU DON'T DO THIS, THE BULLETS WILL HAVE INSANE DROP AND WEAPONS WILL BE INEFFECTIVE!

IMPORTANT ! !

This machinegun CAN and WILL kill players. If you wish to make players immune to these weapons, you must include the spawnpoint, filter and trigger (from the nmo_turrettest_final.vmf) on your map. You can use those spawnpoints as your own map's spawnpoints; you must make sure EVERY player touches their own trigger or THEY WILL BE VULNERABLE TO THE GUNS!

the workshop generally has clientside plugins/mods/whatever. really cool plugins can be mounted to servers

man this communuity is really dead on their mods, this is probably the only useful script mod on here

Well, MP5, AK and other things are already included in No More Room in Hell. This is just a tool for a stationary gun.
