Genesis Ships and Mech Pack

Description
This is a collection of original designs for a fictitious Orbital Station, Genesis II.

I am releasing this ship/mech pack as a little sneak peak for the entire project that it accompanies.

In the group of space goodies are an assortment of civilian and military vehicles that were manufactured to serve the good people of Genesis II. The pack contains one Deepspace Frigate, two smaller Shuttles, three Light-Orbit Warplanes, and three different War Mechs.

Now for the mechs, I have tried to use rotors to simulate a more natural flow in movement with the legs, but in the current build of the game they were far too delicate and I wanted the mechs to be functional for pvp and other general conflicts..

I do not mind the use of copy/paste for your own game-worlds; I just ask that you do not take credit for these creations.

[CONTENT DETAILS]

[SHIPS]

ICARUS IV - A large deepspace frigate designed in the orbit of the desert planet Genesis II resides by. Mainly used as a transportation vessel, the ICARUS IV isn't the first choice in any kind of military conflict. It is however effective for shipping cargo, mechs, and people.

STAM Mk.2 - A medium sized shuttle used in Genesis II to transport residents. Other variations of the STAM are used for munition transportation and police raids on stations.

WHISKER Mk.3 - A warplane that can leave the atmosphere of a planet. It is equipped with two high-powered gattling guns and two shrapnel piercing torpedo pods. The Mk.3 of the WHISKER was the first design that was able to leave a planet's atmosphere, but the technology has not come far enough for it to make jumps into light-speed or survive in deep space without the assistance of service ships or frigates.

[MECHS]

HAMMERHEAD Mk.1 - A heavy mech used for station assaults, asteroid clearing, and other dirty jobs. This mech dons a torpedo pod in the base of it's "nose", with armor plating that is about two feet thick from all sides. Where the HAMMERHEAD lacks in mobility it compensates with protection.

SABER MK.1 - The saber is an assault mech that bears a fin shape on it's base and "head" rig. More agile and less armored than the HAMMERHEAD, the SABER is a jack-of-all-trades. The most common mech used on Genesis II in mechanized combat, the SABER are the front-lines of battles. It also dons a torpedo pod on it's shoulder, leaving it more vulnerable than the HAMMERHEADS "nose" gun.

PANFISH MK.1 - Also known as the "Saucer-head", the PANFISH is mainly used as a scout mech. Stripped of armor and weapons (other than a standard gattling gun), the PANFISH holds almost twice as many thrusters compared to the other two. PANFISH pilots need to train for a long time in order to control the speedy nature of the vehicle. It is also equipped with "grabber" on it's right arm. It can be used to hold warhead clusters, solar-shields, and can even latch onto the sides of larger ships to "hitch-a-ride". Traditionally the PANFISH is used to just do recon, or to clear out warheads in a sector. In large conflicts, the average lifespan of a PANFISH is five minutes. When the going gets tough, the PANFISH gets going.

I feel like this set got overlooked, between your Genesis II and Star Wars sets. These look excellent from the preveiws, going to go in game and try them out.

Also, the Panfish reminds me of the mining LEVs from Zone of the Enders II.

@Alphanerd Sorry for the weak response time, but I've actually just released the Orbital Colony, Genesis II, in which these ships came from.

Cool stuff! Just curious, are you going to go in depth into this planet? Sounds like a good little story waiting to happen!
