[TFA-VOX] John Baker (BOCW)

In 1 collection by multinett
TFA-VOX for COD: Black Ops 1 + Cold War
21 items
Description
"Reluctantly following in his father's footsteps, Baker enlisted and qualified as a Navy SEAL. He saw action in Operation Condor as a Scout Sniper. His temper never bothered Adler, who recruited him to help hunt down Perseus."

A VOX Pack made for my top favorite op from COD: Black Ops Cold War. Baker. Enjoy!

FEATURES:

-Over 180 lines!
-Variety lines; lines differ depending on what you spot/kill.
-Bashing; using TFA BASE weapons that support bashing, a special line will play.
-nZombies Support; compatibility with the nZombies gamemode.
-Other lines mentioned in the image above.

WARNING:

THIS VOX PACK IS NOT AUTO-ASSIGNED TO ANY PLAYERMODEL, MEANING YOU HAVE TO ASSIGN IT YOURSELF. THIS IS BECAUSE NO SUCH PLAYERMODEL EXISTS IN THE WORKSHOP. THE PACK IS NAMED "player/operators/vox/beckbocw". LEARN HOW TO ASSIGN IT HERE.

You can disable the falling sounds if they're too annoying or irritating. You can do this by opening the TFA-VOX menu by typing this in the console: tfa_vox_vgui_open .

CREDITS:

Treyarch: Audio files(assets) from COD:BOCW.

TFA: The base TFA-VOX addon and the template code for creating vox packs.

multinett: Everything else(coding, extraction, compilation).

Please consider giving a thumbs up if you enjoy my expression packs. Thank you!

We all gotta accept it, gmod is a weird and old game. We can't fully blame other modders for their work, its mostly the game that makes things hard and unnerving. Though im happy lua isnt very complicated, I am slighlty learning coding by making these types of mods.

yeah idk why it fixed it either. i looked in the coding and it looked all good but for some reason it doesn't like your coding. your packs are awesome but apparently lua seems to give us a hard time xD

Its ok, I just got confused.

But still I don't understand why that fixed the issue. Take my Spetsnaz vox for example, it has multiple lua files and none of them conflict with eachother and works fine. I'm in the verge of losing my mind lol

oh right yeah it fixed it. sorry for not being direct with you i get confused easily and im horrible at explaining things.

You didn't answer my question, did your method fix the conflict? What did you achieve by doing what you did?
King Of The Family 2 Jul, 2021 @ 4:56am
what i did is i deleted the default and solo and renamed coop with default

"i managed to get it working simply by making each pack only have 1 lua file instead of the default, nz solo, and nz coop."

Did this fix the conflict with other operators?

i managed to get it working simply by making each pack only have 1 lua file instead of the default, nz solo, and nz coop.

I suggest you to load a game with only one operator vox enabled in your addons menu. I know about this bug and its the worst i've come across so far. It will take some time to figuring out whats wrong and fixing it.

oh sorry. if you have all your packs enabled one of them will overwrite the others. for example: you set a model to have this guy's lines (either nzsolo or nzcoop) but you have another pack installed the other one will play no matter which one you choose) it doesn't do this if you choose the default vox pack (nonnz)
