Aperture Railyard

Description
Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Aperture Science to keep their truly immense operation running? How do they manage to keep churning out a seemingly endless supply of cubes, gels and test chambers on a daily basis? Well, now you can take to the rails of the Aperture Railyard and see firsthand just how much work goes into keeping the cogs of scientific progress turning!

Step behind the controls of an array of engines in exclusive Aperture liveries and explore every inch of the railyard, complete with a grand total of seven (yes, SEVEN) full loops so that you can keep those wagons rolling all the live-long day. For science!

PLEASE NOTE - To get the most out of this layout, you'll need to subscribe to my Aperture liveries collection linked below, as well as a couple of other Aperture-themed liveries from other creators.

And finally, while it's not related to Rolling Line in any way, I wholeheartedly recommend the Portal Stories: Mel soundtrack for some easy listening background music. This is Aperture Science, after all...

Aperture thinks they are beating the BMRF with this

Is it okay that I ask a question about the numbering each locomotive has? I am curious since it is like this (this is just for example, and the zeros are placeholder numbers): 00 000. What do the first two numbers mean? Because these locomotives work within and outside the Aperture Science Facility, are these test shaft numbers or are they line numbers? I'm just curious and I wonder what they mean.
