Description
GINO is a prototype nuclear truck, produced for the purpose of transporting Redacted

Recommended target boiler pressure value is between 5 and 8, just be careful setting it higher, the reactor on this thing is... well, if there was a line between temperamental and Chernobyl, its pretty much going through it, so keep an eye on the interface when going above 8, good chance you might suddenly blow the boiler.

set the throttle lever to -1, this will insert the fuel rods

set boiler pressure to 3-4, wait for it to climb a little, then play with the pressure from there

Good news, after a lot of testing, I found a fix! The solution is quite simple.

1. Click select and go over near the drivers cab.
2. Click around until you select the micro controller named "REACTOR MKI MICRO CONTROLLER".
3. Click the three dots next to the name, locate "Boiler Pressure", and click on it.
4. Change it from an INPUT to an OUTPUT.
5. Save the microcontroller.
6. Spawn the vehicle.
7. Do all startup steps normally and you will have motion!
8. (Optional but recommended) Save the vehicle locally so you don't have to repeat these steps again.

I hope this helps anyone who wants to use the vehicle, and if Britzilla sees this, maybe he can change the microcontroller so nobody has to do these steps. Have a lovely day!

I got it to run by manually controlling the flow valve and control rods, I ran the reactor at 200 and it got the boiler temp to 100 and probably past that, got it moving, now I see that it's only the microcontroller that maintains the valve and the reactor that kept this from moving.

No the devs changed how steam works a while back, just never got around to fixing it

Does not work. Maybe yo should automate the ole control rod process. No reason to give it to the players...
Oiadine 27 Mar, 2022 @ 8:31pm
it used to work but now the devs made steam engines more "realistic" by increasing the amount of pressure you get from water

thats because of one of the updates
Vinitatore 27 Mar, 2022 @ 8:15pm
for some reason, it just keeps going higher than what i put in and exploding, same with the MKI dreadnought.
