Genesis Helios Starter Module for Reforged Eden from Nolakron Enterprises

Capital Vessel, CPU Tier 1, Unlock Level 7, Size Class 2, Reforged Eden only

Welcome to the Genesis-HSM. This is a CV base with no thrusters and minimal equipment to reduce cost. The goal of this ship is to gather resources by mining and/or salvage in order to obtain a Helios module compatible CV. The ship starts with 4 320K cargo systems, 2 64K ammo systems, 4 small generators, 4 small fuel tanks, 4 small O2 tanks, O2 station, armor locker, refrigerator, food processor, 24 solar panels, 8 solar capacitors, 2 small constructors, and a large constructor.

Thrusters and turrets can be installed at the four corners of the ship. Remove the black grates to install up to 40 Small, Medium, or Large thrusters and up to 8 Advanced thrusters. For drone defense, there are 12 turret locations marked with white outlines. There are several upgrade sites around the main bridge at the front: MT=Multi-Turret, LRR=Long-Range Radar, L=Laser Drill, Hexgon icon=fixed weapons or Laser Drills.

The Hangar has two upgrade sites: R=Repair Bay, C=Repair Console. The production area forward of the hangar has many upgrade sites: G=Grow Plot, C=Constructor, D=Deconstructor, RS=Armor Repair Station, and Telporter. The Equipment Rooms are at the left and right sides of the production area. Upgrade sites are marked: LG1-7:Large Generator, F=Fuel Tanks, PT=Pentaxid Tank, S=Shield, W=Warp Core, G=Gravity Generator. The Medical Bay is on the upper level right side. Upgrade the clone chamber and add up to 4 medical devices. The CPU Core Room is on the upper level forward. Upgrade sites are marked: B=Basic Core, IC=Improved Core, AC=Advanced Core.

It is up to the user to upgrade CPU and Generator capacity as needed for other upgrades.

When spawning in, it is best to face toward terrain that slopes slightly uphill. Otherwise the end of the hangar ramp may be too far above ground level.

The Genesis-HSM-RE was built as my entry for XCaliber's Anvil May Designers Challenge: Build a starter capital vessel that can later convert to a mid game capital vessel based on future spacing upgrades and conversions.

Two Starter CV versions built for XCalibers's Anvil June Prefab Challenge are also available. These versions have different thruster placements and less cargo capacity than the Genesis-HSM-L10 in order to meet the Prefab Challenge requirements. They also have four mini-gun turrets and a few other minor changes.
