Description
So this is a very special project of mine. I had a lot of fun creating it.

The Stagecoach is broken, and will not give you recruits. Can this be changed? Not really. How do you get your heros then? Well there are a few possibilities.

  • Prisoners
    The included mappack does add a higher Prisoner chance per Dungeon. Latest addition to the mappack is many missions have actually 4 differen map generation settings. So it gets also less repetitive. For example a short explore quest in the Crypts could be either:
  • 9 rooms, 4x3 grid
  • 11 rooms, 6x2 grid
  • 12 rooms, 2x6 grid
  • 13 rooma, 7x2 grid
    Additionally many things like amount of battles or curios is randomized. The largest maps for Cleanse and Explore quests come with a separate goal. Instead of explore 90% of the rooms or 100% room battles it would be only 75%. Those quests also have a different Icon.

  • Starting Group
    You could get an additional 5 heros at the start - for a price (760gold). Four of them are strong in one particular region. So you have a healthy starting roster. Maybe not exactly the classes that you used to take, but those answered the call. (NEW) In addition you will find a separate part in the Stage Coach. Here you will be offered one mercenary per week, it will be Resolve Level 2. You can only have two in your roster, and they come with a few disadvantages like slower resolve gain, less stress healing and they will steal from you in the dungeon. But it IS an option to strengthen your roster. (Thanks O'Nightmare for letting me use this, everything created was his work, i just changed a few minor things)

    BUT? What about the Stage Coach Network and Experienced Recruits, are those useless now? - Pretty much. I have added the possibility to get 1 recruit per week. But it is achieved at the final upgrade of the Network and behind a hefty paycheck.




    Compatibility

    Should not be compatible with any mod that changes the stage coach or any mod that changes maps. Also Map Generation needed to be overwritten so also incompatible with those. The higher placed mod will overwrite the other. You can theoretically use this to deactivate parts of mods you don't like. For example, don't like the maps here, put another mod that changes maps ahead of this one.

So, there's a known conflict between this and Vermintide. Vermintide has a set of town events that reduces Recruits by 2, which causes the game to crash. This can be manually fixed by opening Vermintide's files and changing the number_data the mutliple vmt_blood_signature events from -2 to 0, and deleting Vermintide's modfiles.txt

Porbably an issue on my end, then. The Level 2 quest only have gold as the reward now
