Turtle RE - Starter CV

Turtle is a great base starting CV, while also coming in at a reasonable price. It has enough armor & firepower, that you can easily take on the drones that bother you while mining asteroids.

The drone hatch in the cockpit makes this a safe CV to use, since you never have to leave. Since it already comes with a shield generator, you will have plenty of time to get into the cockpit and defend your ship. With a mixture of miniguns & cannon turrets, drones won't stand a chance!

There is room to add a larger shield generator in the back of the top "shell". Once you unlock the turret tool, I recommend putting one of those on this ship as well. There is room under the cockpit for another turret. I usually move the rooftop turret underneath, and put the drill on top.
