Introducing the SEPD - Hired Gun

On a smaller scale around the core worlds, it was clear to everyone that Piracy, all-though all but quelled on a large scale, was still present through gangs of street racers and rogue fighter pilots. Lacking results on any decent prototypes for fighters, the SEPD hatched a plan.

On a night fruitful with arrests after a particularly vicious turf war, police were told to give the delinquents a message for their leaders and to set them free - reluctantly, they obliged. The message was simple, design us a practical fighter that’s better than the other gangs and we will drop all past charges.

And so the aptly named Hired Gun was born, manufactured and painted in very stunning SEPD colours. Of course this isn’t the official story, imagine the public’s horror if they found out we hired ruffians to make our fighters… so please… No telling ;)



The Hired Gun has an armament consisting of 2 Gatling Guns and 2 Rocket Launchers, 1 lower Connector and 1 Large Battery (along with several Smaller). It features primarily Hydrogen thrusters with a smaller complement of Ions also.

The Fighter also carries 2 Merge Blocks allowing for Torpedoes, Additional Cargo and Vehicle Mounts (coming soon)

Due to its H2 deficiency, and the weight of unusable Ions in gravity, I recommend fighter compliments to be accompanied by larger vehicles such as the Enforcer, when on planets.
