Early Farming Pack (1920-1950)

In the early 20th century, mechanized farming enabled more food to be grown with less manual labour, allowing more labour to be used towards other pursuits. This pack contains a selection of tractors and combines that will allow your nation to engage in mechanized farming between 1920 and 1950. Note that you will need to change the start year of your save game or enable all vehicle years to use these vehicles, as all of these vehicles are obsolete long before 1960.

This mod was created for ryantheskinny's alternate US history project.

Fordson Model F
--------
A popular early tractor using a modified Model T engine. This was one of the first tractors to use the engine and transmission as the structure of the tractor, eliminating the need for a dedicated frame and reducing costs.

An early towed combine powered solely by gears driven by the spinning of its main axle. Pulled by a Fordson Model F.

A towed combine powered by an auxiliary truck engine mounted on the combine. Pulled by a Fordson Model N.

An updated No. 22 combine powered by a PTO and operated via hydraulics, eliminating the need for a separate combine operator. Pulled by a Fordson Model E27N.

All vehicles are available for dollars.

Known Issues: While the towed combines are technically trailers, the game does not support towed harvesters and so the combines had to be modeled as a single rigid model. The width of the combines will also cause them to overhang a standard parking spot and take up more than their lane when driving on a road, but this is purely a visual problem. It will not stop other vehicles from parking or driving beside the combine.
