Description
I-782 Series Residential Tower for Cities: Skylines

Location: Russia: Moscow (Strogino, Nagatinsky Zaton)
Construction: 1983 — 1988

Description

The I-782 series is a late-Soviet 22-storey residential tower developed as a derivative of the I-700 and II-68 series. Built in limited numbers, it is notable for its improved floor plans and adaptability for remodeling. The towers feature a stepped loggia layout on the main facade, with single-section cores and six apartments per floor—two 1-room, two 2-room, and two 3-room units.

Despite its short production span, I-782 stands out for providing rare flexibility in Soviet mass housing. All apartments include large loggias, and the 2-room layouts in particular are regarded as some of the best of their era.
