Vermintide Analytics

Description
Overview
Vermintide Analytics is a mod which tracks various stats about your games in greater detail than the in-game statistics and stores it in a compact, custom-written format on disk. Once you have played some games, you can use the Vermintide Analyzer to see the collected data. The Analyzer will automatically read the files on disk (relocating and organizing them in the process), and provide a friendly way to visualize and compare data between games.

The Vermintide Analyzer can be downloaded here:
Vermintide Analyzer releases[github.com]

How to use:
  1. Subscribe to and activate the mod
  2. Download the latest version of Vermintide Analyzer[github.com]
  3. Play some Vermintide
  4. Once you are done, open the Analyzer and bask in the glorious data!

Note:
  • The Analyzer will only read game logs that are not still being written to by Vermintide. So, you will need to close Vermintide before the Analyzer will see any games from that session.
  • The Analyzer only runs on Windows. So if you are on a different operating system... tough luck for now, sorry.
  • If the format of the data that the mod writes ever changes, it may require an update to the Analyzer as well. Steam will update the mod for you, but if the Analyzer needs to be updated, you will have to do so manually.
  • For those who use difficulty modifier mods (Deathwish, Onslaught, OnslaughtPlus, OnslaughtSquared, SpicyOnslaught), normally only the host knows what is enabled. I have made it so that hosts with this mod will notify clients of which of these mods are active, but if you are a client and the host does not have Vermintide Analytics, your games will not show which mods were enabled.
  • Totals may differ from what you see on the post-game statistics screen.

Why does our elf count her kills?
I've no idea. We all have our quirks.
Perhaps. But the fervour of her speech. 'Tis like sacrament.
If it worries you, why not ask her?
Oh, you know why.

@Rema It has been a while since I have actively worked on it, but I do intend to get around to supporting the Necromancer class.

Hi, is this mod still being work on?

Love the mod Prismism, but I would love to have this sanctioned. I don't see it getting approved as any issue, especially after your recent changes to bring it in line with their new requirements.

As a data nerd I'd love to be able to use this where 99% of my missions are. I used to have a similar enough tool called "CSGO Demos Manager" back in the day for csgo and it was incredible being able to break down missions afterwards or track improvements in my play over time.

Thanks for the amazingly detailed reporting on that issue @tyr0wl, glad we could get that resolved!

Seems to work so far, but the app seems to hang on one of my games in the game view window and seems rather slow when trying to open games in that window in general.

I'll post an issue on github with further data.

Version 1.1.0 of the Analyzer supports pulling data from where the mod writes it in the game's logs now. Enjoy! There may be some things I missed, so if you think something is an issue, do let me know!

thank you very much for your work :)

I plan to move to storing data in the game's existing console logs. I have just updated the mod to do this, so you can start *collecting* data again (assuming I don't make further changes to how the data storage works).

I will start on updating the Analyzer so that it actually works with this sometime soon.
