Description
"Sydney's New Modern Rail Fleet"

The "Waratah" Series 1 A Set entered service on July 1st 2011. These new trains were introduced during the era of 'CityRail', Sydney's rail operator back then before it transformed to Sydney Trains in 2013, these were introduced with 78 new trains to bring an end to the dreaded non-air-conditioned S Sets that commuters were not so fond of.

This asset was created to show the original 2011 CityRail livery. The original was based off Robert's A Set that I reworked just recently, so he receives credit for creating the original model.

This asset uses Additive Shader! If you don't want to use it, it will not show the destination board, rear lights, and guard lights, only such minor details that go missing but if you want the full package, have it enabled!

Sydney Trains Waratah A Set (Originally made by Robert, reworked by me):

Ingame asset name is: CityRail A Set (8 Car)

Recommended Mods:

Improved Public Transport 2 (allows you to assign this train to train lines)
Additive Shader (adds the destination board, rear lights & blue guard lights)

Both driving cars have 6,346 tris and 182 for the LOD.
Each motor car has 4,520 tris and 68 for the LOD.
Both trailer cars have 5,278 and 92 for the LOD.
Additive shader mesh: Front facing mesh is 46 tris and rear facing mesh is 38

Main texture size is 1024x1024 and lod size is 256x256.
Additive defuse size is 512x512

Special thanks again to Sydney Metro Vlogs for making the website that develops the destination board!

The Japanese train in my profile picture, the JR East E235 series, I've delayed this train for a real long time now and I've been very keen to finish for the past few months.

Very nice. What train are you making next?
