S-Bahn Vorarlberg

Description
Repaint set for S-Bahn Vorarlberg vehicles.

"The S-Bahn Vorarlberg is a local transport system in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg with shorter sections in neighboring countries. It is integrated into the Verkehrsverbund Vorarlberg (VVV), of which it is the backbone.
[...]
From December 2005, the first Talent multiple units of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) were pasted with the inscription "S-Bahn Vorarlberg", later also multiple units of the Montafonerbahn. The train type "S-Bahn" was initially only used in VVV timetables, in the official ÖBB timetables the trains were initially still listed as regional trains, only later did the ÖBB also take over the line numbers S1 and S3. From December 2020, the trains on line S4 will also officially run under this name in the timetable.

The following variants are available:

- ÖBB 4024 S-Bahn Vorarlberg
Talent multiple unit of the Vorarlberg S-Bahn.
2005 - 2025
ZZA: Bregenz Hafen / Bludenz

- ÖBB 4024 S-Bahn Vorarlberg 'Alpenstadt Bludenz'
Talent multiple unit of the Vorarlberg S-Bahn with advertising for the Alpine town of Bludenz. (Created for TpF 1 by Yoshi)
2006 - 2018
ZZA: Bregenz Hafen / Bludenz

- ÖBB 4024 S-Bahn Vorarlberg Mundart
In 2016, ÖBB, the city of Bregenz and the Vorarlberg transport association launched the joint project 'My regional train' started. For each of the four Vorarlberg districts, one S-Bahn set is presented as a conspicuous dialect (=Mundart) Ambassador.
2016 - 2018
ZZA Bregenz / St. Margrethen (Breagaz)
ZZA: Lindau Hbf / Schruns (Bludaz)
ZZA: Bregenz Hafen / Bludenz (Dorabira)
ZZA: Feldkirch / Buchs SG (Fealdkirch)

- ÖBB 4024 S-Bahn Vorarlberg 'Kultur am Zug'
The ÖBB Regional Management Vorarlberg and the State of Vorarlberg have been offering the 'Culture on the Train' initiative since 2017. Traveling by train should become an experience, the carriage will become a meeting place for passengers interested in art and culture. Contributions from literature, theater and dance, music, the new media or the visual arts are presented on the train.
2017 - 2025
ZZA: Bregenz Hafen / Bludenz

- NPZ S-Bahn Vorarlberg
The Montafonerbahn AG (MBS) owns a total of 4 NPZ compositions. Since 2012, these have also been operating under the Brand ´S-Bahn Vorarlberg´.
2012 - 2035
ZZA: Bludenz / Schruns

- NPZ MBS + 2 or 3 CityShuttle wagons
As part of the mileage compensation, MBS NPZ sets operated, partly with CityShuttle wagons ÖBB reinforced, continuously as REX from Schruns via Bludenz, Feldkirch and Bregenz to Lindau.
2006 - 2020 / 2012 - 2035
ZZA: Lindau / Bludenz

"In 2018 all trains of the 4024 series were modernized inside to Cityjet standard (new seat covers, screens, ...) [to be found here https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2060071546].
From mid-2019, new Bombardier Talent 3 [] railcars should be used to cope with the ever-increasing number of passengers. However, their approval (for Austria, Germany and Switzerland) continued to be delayed. As an interim solution, it was decided to exchange eight sets for modernized Talent 1 Cityjets. After Bombardier was only able to provide a single set for a trial operation in November 2020 and further delays in the approval process were announced, ÖBB decided to re-tender the order.
[...]
Since the timetable change in December 2020, only ÖBB trains of series 4024 have been running on the S4 due to the transport contract, which stipulates barrier-free trains. Furthermore, from this timetable year, the trains will be officially run as S4 for the first time and no longer as regional trains as before. In addition, with the exception of off-peak times, every second train to and from Schruns is now on average bound through as an S1 to and from Bregenz."

However, the "No End Year" option can be selected in the game menu. ;)

Many thanks to Markus1014 and workshop for the permission and assistance in creating the repaints. Also thanks to Yoshi for allowing me to convert his variant from TpF 1.

Have fun with it! :)

If I can figure it out ill try and make a colorable version :/

Like I said: the coloring is enabled via the cblend file. If it's in a greenish, it's colorable, if it's in an orange tone, it's not. Normally, the red stripes on the 4024 are in the greenish tone, so they should be colorable. However, this is not the case at the moment.
BUT this mod links directly to the original 4024 from the Vienna Fever package, so everything that relates to this, is not in my hands.

I forgot how to make things colorable I believe there was a a color that acts as multi use color in the texture files (I wouldn't know). 4024 would look nice in multiple color schemes.

So I took a look into it. For the coloring needed files are linked with the ones drom the original mod and the textures are looking fine. However, even the original 4024 can't be colored currently. Maybe there's a conflict with the new update, but I can't say for sure.

But the salient point is, from my side everything seems correct.

Maybe it is how I have the mod installed. (Transit network colors is Seagreen and Purple). I normally assign fleets by the line color.

The Talent (ÖBB 4024) should be colorable

Think you can make a multi colorable version for fantasy lines?
