Description
A set of 32 levels of varying degrees of complexity. The mod introduces a few new concepts but also explores the existing ones in new levels.

There are currently 48 different challenges that can be achieved. These varies in type, with difficulties ranging from somewhat trivial to seemingly impossible.

The Rogue's Update (v1.4)
* Renamed the chapter "The Spy's Story" to "The Rogue's Story"
* Rogue levels increased from 4 to 8 (total level count now at 32).
* Rogue challenges increased from 0 to 19 (total challenge count now at 48).
* Gave the Rogue levels their unique look by adding some custom textures.
* Fixed a bug that prevented the level "Adverts to Toads" to load.
* Improved the resizing of the level "Lost in a Maze"

The Librarian's Update (v1.3)
* Librarian levels increased from 5 to 6 (total level count now at 28).
* Librarian challenges increased from 0 to 11 (total challenge count now at 29).

The Arcanist's Update (v1.2)
* Arcanist levels increased from 2 to 6 (total level count now at 27).
* Arcanist challenges increased from 0 to 10 (total challenge count now at 18).
* Gave the Arcanist levels their unique look by adding some custom textures.
* The Arcanist levels now use their own custom generators.
* Fixed a bug where letters could be rotated and/or flipped and still match the output.
* Tweaked the frame in "Contained Containers" to make it easier to see.
* Tweaked the input distribution in "Contained Containers" to make the two outputs get roughly the same amount of pieces.

The Explorer's Update (v1.1)
* Explorer levels increased from 2 to 7 (total level count now at 23).
* Explorer challenges increased from 0 to 8 (total challenge count now at 8).
* Fixed a resizing issue in the Explorer levels.
* Gave the Explorer levels their unique look by adding some custom textures.

Initial Version (v1.0)
* 18 levels in 6 different chapters.
* 0 challenges.

No - the guide is well written and I totally understand the cross-weld trick

I was just referring to the standard levels in the campaign,. While you don't have to use Cross Welds, having the ability to do so allow for some creative solutions. In most of the levels it won't really help, so "plenty" might not have been the right word.

If you have more questions about the Cross Weld itself, ask them in the guide and I'll answer them there.

Which do you mean? Are there any mods except for the few ones in the Steam-workshop somewhere on the web? I cannot find any . . .

I completed all of your "Arcanist's Story"-levels - and yet I don't understand your words - maybe you have a screenshot of a simple, clear solution of the "Cross"-Mod for me? Or a Drawing. Would be appreciated.

Btw, thank you for all the good levels, I hope for more.

It requires a trick that is known as the cross-weld (as it is needed to weld a cross). The main idea is that you can weld things to the front side of disabled portals, and then enable the portal to make the welded block disconnect. If you need further help, don't hesitate to ask.

Please help me with 'Adverts to Toads' - I'll never get it right, because I don't know the trick needed.

It looks like that level broke in a previous update due to a typo. I will fix it for the next update. Thanks for reporting it here.

If you don't want to wait you can fix it yourself, but you would have to edit one of the mod's files. Line 5 in the setup.lua file in the Adverts to Toads folder should be blocks = block_list, (it was missing the comma at the end). If you need further help with this, feel free to join the official Warp Factory Discord server.

I'm getting an error when I try to load the first zoologist level:


Failed to load level.

Error: sol: syntax error: [string "local block_list = {"T.png", "O.png", "A.png"..."]:6: '}' expected (to close '}' at line 3) near 'main'
