LDB-110 "Macronyx" Light Bomber

Built to fill a gap in the Coalition airforce for a mobile yet hard hitting ground attack aircraft, the Macronyx is Chaplain's attempt at an aircraft since the earliest days of powered flight, still retaining many quirks seen as outdated as a result. The heavy airframe is more reminiscent of some of their light tank designs at times, and requires a biplane layout simply to get enough lift for flight, along with a powerful radial engine. This however gives it a surprising level of agility, frequently dodging attacks by unsuspecting Dominion fighter pilots and delivering its payload before weaving back out of the battlefield, its thick smoke trail following.

This craft is built for World War Neter, and may not be practical for use in the default campaign. That said, it is fully functional and could be refit to be campaign practical.
