Krystal Type-04 Salvager

The Krystal Type-04 Salvager was the Krystal fleet’s first attempt to add larger cargo bays to ships in order to provide added storage, resource recovery, and salvage retrieval. However, in order to add these larger cargo bays, the ship’s mass had to be increased for the added storage, and thus its top speed suffered, but still can reach 795 m/s. The Salvager is designed to go into debris or asteroid fields from a carrier (as to it has no jump drive) and mine asteroids with its 2 laser emitters and 2 rail cannons and recover their materials, or recover valuable salvage or weapon parts that the Krystal Empire can use to make deadly new prototypes. The salvager has no crew requirements, a small cargo bay, a sensor network, and a Kinetic Field Generator. As previously stated, this ship is a Heavy Fighter class designed to be launched from a carrier overseeing the mining and/or salvage operation.
