Krystal Type-05 Defender

The Krystal Type-05 Defender is considered to be an upgraded form of the Type-04 Salvager, but with the different goal of adding Jump Drive technology unlike the added cargo bay storage in the Salvager. The Defender is also considered to be the Krystal Empire’s first step into making more deadly heavy fighters, utilizing 4 scatterguns and 4 energy beam weapon installments meant to cut through enemy shields and fire a barrage of kinetic projectiles at enemy fighters. With a top speed of 979 m/s, a Kinetic Field generator, a cargo bay for ammunition storage, and its jump drive, the Defender can go to anywhere in a sector without the need of a carrier to bring it from place to place and thus be self-sufficient. The Defender also has no need for a crew and therefor can be unmanned and an AI can be used to pilot this Heavy Fighter. These ships have been seen in escort and guard missions as being one of the first lines of defense against enemy bombers.
