Let's paint a picture, you are climbing in the spire. You just fought an elite and took some damage, which made you divert your path to rest in a campfire. You found an awesome relic in the Act 3 chest, and picked it up habitually. You picked up an amazing card and decided to upgrade it immediately. Then, you walk into the Act 3 boss rooms only to realise that you forgot to take any of the keys. Looking back at the map, you realise that you were too preoccupied with what was in front of you and forgot that this is a heart run. Hours of effort have been wasted, the bosses are laughing at you, and you feel nothing but regret. Is this image familiar to you? Of course it is. And this mod is for you. The force key mod makes sure that you will get all of your keys in act 3.


As much as I would like to make this mod perfect, there are a few cases where the mod may not work properly.

The relic Tiny Chest turns every 4th question mark you visit into a treasure room. Counting question marks and intervening in the player's pathing was shown to be too difficult, thus the mod will not be forcing you to take the blue key while you have this relic.

The relic Wing Boots lets you ignore paths while traveling between rooms for up to 3 times. The mod has tried to accommodate the relic, and it should work properly in most cases. However, there is a good chance that there will be bugs related to this relic. If you found the mod blocking your path when it's not supposed to, or allowing you to go somewhere that you shouldn't be going, please take a screenshot of your map and report it as a bug.

The Flight modifier in custom runs lets you ignore paths while traveling between rooms the whole run. Its functionally identical to wing boots, though since it is slightly different, there is a chance that the mod does not work well with it. If you find yourself being blocked from a path that you are supposed to travel through, or allowing you to go somewhere that you shouldn't be going, please disable the mod.

In the coop mode of the mod Spire with Friends, your teammates can give you keys. There are more emerald key nodes on the map, but you don't always get emerald keys from them (an "empowered chest" cannot give you the emerald key). This mod has not been tested with Spire with Friends, and may crash the game or force you into a path you that you don't have to take. You should disable this mod when playing Spire with Friends.

If you have a bug to report, please open an issue on GitHub[github.com] or comment down below. If the bug involves you being blocked off of a path when you are supposed to have access to it, or you being allowed to take a path that you should not be taking, please attach a screenshot of your map. If the pathing bug involves you having wing boots, please tell me that you have them, as well as how many charges you had when you encountered the bug.
If the bug involves a crash, please include the crash log. If the crash log does not fit in one comment, please paste it on pastebin[pastebin.com] and give me the link.
