Description
Welcome to my new map Woolamai Beach, which is based upon a height map of Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia. Apart from the shape and heights, the map is entirely fictional.

Woolamai Beach is a world-renowned surf beach, known for its enormous, and often dangerous, waves. Being one of the first surf beaches as you cross the bridge from San Remo on to the Island itself, it is a popular spot for grabbing an ice-cream, checking out the surf shops or taking a walk up to Cape Woolamai for some stunning views.

I got the idea of making a map based on Phillip Island because it is one of my favourite places. My grandparents owned a holiday house in Ventnor (one of the little towns) and we would spend every holiday there as I was growing up.

I have made a theme mix via Theme Mixer which is a combination of Laviante 2.1, Italian Coast and Reaper_Real_Blue V1, which you will find in the one click collection linked above.

You can find the Relight and Ultimate Eye Candy settings I used in the screenshots provided.

I would like to thank all of the creators who have been generous with sharing their work, BonBonB for his fantastic tutorials and map reviews (found at https://www.youtube.com/BonBonB ) and the Cities: Skylines community as a whole, for being excellent.

Thank you for showing some interest in Woolamai Beach, and I hope you enjoy it. If you do, please consider leaving a like!

This is seriously the nicest map for coastal, non-tropical Australia I've come across - visually, it just really hit the mark. The problem I had when I tried to build a city with it was the small land area, mixed with the not-diverse terrain - when you've got a small amount of buildable area with picturesque beaches on every side, it really doesn't lend itself to much of a variety of builds. I might come back to this one day if I decide to follow through on a detailed small-town/rural coastal build (for which it'd be perfect), but otherwise I'm stuck hoping for a map that's basically this with about 25% more land area.

@OkByMe The One Click Collection is not visible for me, neither can I find it in the collections. Maybe you've set it to private or something?
