HSB-310 "Atrox" Heavy Bomber

With the advent of the atomic bomb, it became clear that the Coalition's bomber force was woefully inadequate to meet the demands of a nuclear battlefield, both for the deployment of the weapons themselves, and surviving the resultant fallout. While earlier bombers had been made, none could match the lifting capacity needed to deploy the latest ordinance, both nuclear and conventional. Built using the existing "Thunderer" engine from the LBD-110 to reduce development time, and without the resources to produce a new engine type for the aircraft, it was chosen to opt for an unconventional 6 engine layout, with two being mounted on the bomber's midsection, the resultant payload capacity letting the Atrox bring a truly formidable amount of firepower, protection and speed to the battlefield.

This craft is built for World War Neter, and may not be practical for use in the default campaign. That said, it is fully functional and could be refit to be campaign practical.
