Project Q

Description
This is Project Q version 3.1 for NWN: Enhanced Edition.

A collection of Haks that allows you to play modules made using the extra features in Project Q.
The haks do not override resources, so they will only show when you are playing modules made specifically for Project Q.

I'm not the author, all credits go to the Project Q team. I merely uploaded this to Steam Workshop to make installing Project Q easier for players and to help builders who wish to build using Project Q assets.
It has been posted here with the permission of the current Project curator.

This package includes a base module for builders who wish to start a module using Project Q resources (called qv3_base)

Oh that makes sense, thanks for the explanation!

Yes, but you can still subscribe to both packages here, which allows you to play modules using either package. For a module to use assets from both CEP and Project Q is more (a lot) work for the author. So, as a player, yes they are compatible, but you won't see the assets from both packages used in a module, unless the author of the module specifically has done that. As an author you normally choose one of the packages as a base for your module.

Yeah, Project Q is incompatible with CEP, although CEP did include some content from Q.

It is incompatible with CEP right? Both seems be doing the same thing. Thanks

@JaMpocalypse It does NOT include "CORE - Hotfix to soften the visible edges of Q foliage". It includes the latest version of Q which is 3.1
The optional foliage hotfix is are 8 small files you can download from: https://neverwintervault.org/project/nwnee/hakpak/combined/project-q-v31-nwn-enhanced-edition-v819313
and put in your override folder ( or in a custom top hak if you're a builder).

Does it include the latest hotfix?

Sadly it appears to be causing me to crash to desktop when opening stores so I've had to remove it

@NuGuy It is, but using Project Q as a builder you may miss out on changes to ressources (creature appearances etc.) made from .16 and forward. (I can’t remember if anything has been added after that) As a player it shouldn’t matter, it’s something builders can work around. (For example use updated .2da’s in a custom hak for your module)
If you’re a builder you can get help with things like that at either neverwintervault.org / neverwintervault discord / beamdog forums

On the Vault page it says
"Project Q is NOT compatible with the current 8193.16 Stable version of NWN EE. Nor will this package be updated to be so. "

Does this work with current version of EE or not?
