Description
this is based on the Cooper Climax T51 f1 car. The first car in the f1 championship to use mid engine. They were a small indie british team, and Cooper is the same person who made the Mini Cooper. There was no 1 variant of this car, so this is kind of an amalgamation of a few.

This car ran in 1958, but I've set the year earlier if you want to take a few years to make it in campaign mode. In BeamNG there's issues with the steering, and even though these cars were quite narrow, if you make the front track width wider, it'll have less issues.

try making the track width offset higher when you're in wheels (it's the aspect ratio of the car that's throwing the exporter off). Then when you have a wider car in beamng, and the steering is still broken, try using the instructions again :) (I see all, and read all comments haha)

Which game, beamng or Automation? I could send you my .car file and you could export it and it fix it again using your video and editing, the result is still the same from my testing. and yes @ Paulbartley92, I did follow the video tutorial. and retried multiple times. If I am the only one with the issue persisting then it is either the mod's geometry is not compatible with my specific automation creation or something else. Nevertheless fillman86 has given up entirely on this pursuit, which is too big a headache for him, understandable.

the turning is broken but i didnt watch the video so thats probably the reason but even after that its still a blast to drive the wank steering makes it fun

it's the game, not the mod, try making the steering wider if you can't figure out how fixing the steering works.

spent a few hours,didn't get it entirely fixed, just somewhat till it turns past 20degrees and breaks inevitably. The suspension geometry for this body needs updating ASAP.

Yup so I did the fix in the video but still loads with completely broken steering. Chassis hiding is easy compared to this.. Anyone know the root cause?

cool mod otherwise, just few issues.
