Description
Lake Charles (French: Lac Charles) is the fifth-largest incorporated city in the U.S. state of Louisiana, located on Lake Charles, Prien Lake, and the Calcasieu River. Founded in 1861 in Calcasieu Parish, it is a major industrial, cultural, and educational center in the southwest region of the state. As of the 2010 census Lake Charles population was 71,993. It is considered a regionally significant center of petrochemical refining, gambling, tourism, and education being home to McNeese State University and Sowela Technical Community College. Because of the lakes and waterways throughout the city, metropolitan Lake Charles is often called Lake Area.

This map include all roads in Lake Charles, Westlake, and Prien, Louisiana including Interstate 10, Interstate 210 and Highway 171 and Highway 14 as the main connections. There are railroad connections, ship connections for the Port of Lake Charles Harbor and Terminal District and airport connections for Chennault International Airport.

There are small portions of oil on the western portion of the map around the refinery area and a small portion of farming area on the eastern out lying areas of the city.
25 tiles mod is definitely recommended to gain access to the entire Lake Charles area as the area has urban sprawl.
