What's cooler than being cool?

Amazing level. I liked how it made clever use of Time Stop. The difficulty is brutal but fair.

What a fantastic level not gonna lie. It was really hard and challenging, but also super rewarding and I felt very nice at the end. I had to learn how to use the Timestop hat correctly because you don't need it for anything in the vanilla game besides for like 3 optional collectables.

So against my better judgement I gave this level a solid six hours with Assist Mode regen (so I wouldn't be stuck at the beginning the entire time), repeatedly attempting every segment to see if they were even possible hatless. Technically speaking they are, but technically possible != fair. However, even with a couple hundred of attempts I was never able to get in range of the hook at the very end of the level, and at some point the bouncy boat on the last falling platform broke completely and got stuck in the death plane, which sums up my feelings about this level as a whole better than words ever could.

Those falling platforms were already straddling the line between unintuitive and unfun with use of the Time Stop hat, but the hatless challenge is the kind of Getting Over It grade teeth pulling I was expecting to encounter in Death Wish based on its reputation.

My main problem with this is that the platforms go down, resulting in very frustrating platforming moments. certainly doable with the time stop hat, but ultimately it just wasn't fun as a result. it looks nice, and is certainly enjoyable outside of those constantly descending platforms, but I can't say i liked it.

Yeah, I may have overdone it with the hatless challenge. Most of the jumps are pretty tight and may not be obvious at first without hats to help you. It's possible, but there isn't much room for error, and it doesn't help that the first checkpoint is probably the hardest without hats.

Creative level, but the optional challenge for the three extra rift tokens seems impossible, you need the Time Stop hat for most of these obstacles but you arent able to use it.
