Edit: I found the map, it's from tekken and it's called "infinite azure", this map is amazing and I will continue to play it nonetheless!

The aether variant reminds me of that 1 fighting game stage with the water floor and roates (I think?). I forgot the game that stage was from though lol (yes I know this is from kingdom hearts)
