Krystal Type_09 Shuttlebus

The Krystal Type-9 Shuttlebus was the Krystal fleet’s first attempt with drone control technology. Through technological developments, it was determined that a large hull would be needed to house these drones, and considerable amounts of equipment in order to control these drones would have to be assessed. The Shuttlebus is barley considered a Cruiser class ship, and its bulky design makes it have a slow speed of 464 m/s. However, its large cargo bays, mining drones, large sensor network, and jump field drive make it useful for mining operations, usually on the outskirts of Krystal space. The Shuttlebus can also be modified to house attack drones in order for it to provide drone support against strike craft in fleet wide battles. The model that is provided houses one hanger full of combat drones for defense and the hanger for mining drones. Focusing on defensive weaponry, the Shuttlebus houses two laser emitters and two Stinger MMS systems. The Shuttlebus also houses a small kinetic field generator. This small ship made it possible for future models of ships to have the technology to house drones, as well as amplified the notice of deep space mining technology. In order for the drones and other subsystems to be managed properly, a crew of 18 is needed.
