Edel Class Fleet Support Ship

The Edel Class is aimed at being a versatile support ship in my custom faction. The goal was to create something large and reasonably priced that could support large fleets with consistent firepower that can hit most targets.

The Edel's main feature is the 12 central mortars (I'm still tweaking the AI, so any advice regarding those would be really helpful) built for popping turrets and distracting LAMS. The Edel also has three dual barrel supercavitation railguns for when the mortars can't hit. Lastly, the Edel has a few simple weapons, and two quad barrel AP/CIWS guns on the front.

The Edel is meant to be a slightly lower difficulty vehicle to fight, but I didn't want the traditional counters to mortars to be the only weakness. I chose to give the Edel no laser protection at all as a lot of my recent crafts have had decent laser protection. To counteract this large weakness, the Edel has decent armoring and a solid anti-missile and torpedo system.

This ship still needs a bit of tweaking, but hopefully you'll enjoy facing off against it!
