This mod was made with the intention of there being a possibility of there being genuine Chinese civil wars throughout the game, conquering land won't be a tedious task anymore as you core the land you take (as long as it is not their capital) instantly upon siege. Uniting China as the Emperor is challenging but still possible, this may be a bit more difficult due to you owning different territories spread across China and or being above your army/navy forcelimit(Although this shouldn't be a massive concern).

This mod extends some of the features of China and the Chinese Empire, adding a new disaster, the Chinese civil war, warring states, the ability to re-form the Emperor of China if it gets dismantled, and some new Emperor of China reforms.

There's a Eunuch estate (currently still being worked on and will have more flavour added in the future), it adds mandate and either - or + corruption depending on loyalty levels, there's also one privilege available so far. There is also a unique disaster if they get too much influence.

There are a few Mandate-unique events added.

There isn't many but there's a few generic Chinese missions at the moment.

To start, pick Ming if you wish to play as a warlord in a civil war.

You will be given the option to play normally, or to have a civil war happen immediately upon game start.

If you choose to play normally, you can still choose a country during a civil war later on if one occurs.

If you choose to have a civil war to happen immediately, wait until month tick, and the disaster will happen. Then, you will be given a popup to let you choose a country.

The game should keep declaring wars between you and the princes to keep the Civil war active. Don't worry if the mandate is destroyed, you can recreate it either manually during peace (no civil war) inside of the decisions tab or if it's destroyed during the civil war you automatically become emperor after uniting the chinese regions, doing so will remove any warring state bonuses.

This mod adds the 3 Chinese rivers, as well as the great wall of China. It was made by us, but kept seperate to keep the main mod compatible with more mods. It will always be kept up-to-date.

@Kat Having the same problem as Spoopy Skeleton - every time it gets to 3rd December 1444, the game crashes. Hope it gets fixed soon because this mod and its submods look interesting.

Only monarchs can play as a Chinese Empire. If you want to stay a Republic, you can't get a Celestial Empire.

Sorry for the long time with no update. I've added a new T2 government reform (couldn't keep the default eu4 ones as I'm trying to keep this mod compatible with as many things as possible and this would've made it incompatible with governments expanded) and the civil war once again should hopefully happen less often. The issue with the civil war's frequency, is that if i make it too easy to get, the AI gets it every time, but if i make it too hard to get, the AI never gets it. Hopefully this update will make it happen a bit less often.
