Chibi Drops

Description
Mod ID - 2552233103

Description:
Chibi Drops adds a chance to add a random Chibi to all supply drops, without touching or editing the default drop. This drop chance can be changed by editing GameUserSettings.ini (see below). The current pool is based on all the Chibi available in the editor. The Chibi rarity should be unchanged from the standard event rates. Chibi Drops should be Stackable, but a Chibi will not be added to supply drops if another mod has replaced SupplyCrateBaseBP in some way.

This works by scanning the level for Supply Crates and making a roll, each Supply Crate will only have once chance to contain a Chibi.


Features:
- Stackable
- Adds a 5% chance for Supply Crates to contain a random Chibi
- ini config settings


Config Options:
[ChibiDrops] ChibiDropPercent=5 ChibiDropTimer=60

ChibiDropPercent: The percent chance to add a Chibi to a drop 1-100, a 0 will default to 5%.
ChibiDropTimer: How often the mod checks for supply drops to add chibi to.

Sorry, super late reply, but you should be able to just add the line to your ini file.

Unfortunately I wont be updating this mod anymore. I have moved on to ASA. I will slowly start a new chibi drops mod for ASA. Prolly in a different way. I would like to try a version that will drop the chibis from the dinos.

used find but 'Could not find "[ChibiDrops]"'. the mod is not making the lines

You can find "GameUserSettings.ini" inside of steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor.

You will need to open "GameUserSettings.ini" and add


[ChibiDrops]
ChibiDropPercent=5


Then you change the number to whatever you like. I hope this helps. :)

@HydroLee Yes this should work on Fjordur.

@owfran2022 I like the idea of adding another ini setting to control the number of drops. But I'm waiting to see what's up with Ark in UE5 before I do any more modding.

@richardtherat I just got back into ark after a while, I had a better idea than changing rarity, but instead is there a way to make a configurable number of chibis spawn per beacon? Like if I wanted each crate to have 3 random chibis instead of one.
