  2. Wait for Awake to download and install
  3. Launch "Dying Light Custom Game" on startup from steam

| THE STORY |
It's been more than a decade since the events of Dying Light. Following Rais's death, his bandit army wavered and nearly ceased to exist. However, in the precarious situation that was formed with his passing, new threats emerged and took the place of the ruthless dictator. New leadership had taken over Rais's remnants, and they fostered a newfound taste for blood that was directed almost solely at the Tower. Years of bloody conflict passed by, and with each battle both factions grew more weary.

As a last ditch attempt to secure Harran for themselves, and even beyond, a full-scale attack on the Tower was devised. The Tower held out for months as Rais's army chipped away at their forces and camps. However, your faction's end was guaranteed as the last fortifications fell. You were a soldier in the Towers' arsenal, stationed at the new frontline after being pushed back for years. However, no one was prepared for the brutality and haste of the enemy's attacks. Your camp was completely decimated, however with some luck you were only knocked out. You awake upon a pile of bodies, not knowing who you are, or what to do now.

| FEATURES |

Explore an overgrown and desolate Harran that reveals the effects of years of abandonment and neglect.

> New Places and Environments:
Discover new areas never before seen. Your journey will take you through multiple locations, ranging from destroyed and collapsing city ruins to cavernous and labyrinthine mineshafts.

> A New Story:
Take control of an unknown soldier as they follow in the wake of the last remnants of the Tower!

| PERFORMANCE AND BUGS |
Issues with performance were not observed during playtesting and should be similar to the base game. However, if you do have issues please consider the following changes to your in-game graphics settings:

> Disable Vertical Synchronization if enabled
> Disable Nvidia settings (HBAO+ and especially PCSS shadows)
> Lower your shadow settings (most frame hits are caused by shadows)
> Lower view distance as needed, however this will cause more pop-in of game models

Similarly, most if not all bugs observed during playtesting have been fixed. If you encounter any issues, please make a discussion post and we'll take a look.

One of the best maps I've ever played

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish the map. In the section where you're supposed to shoot the crane or mechanism to drop the platform, I emptied my entire clip and hit the right spot, but the platform didn't fall. I later watched a video and confirmed I was aiming correctly—it just didn't trigger.

i.....i think my brain crashed more than few times....t..his...is.....fuck this is the best custom map for any kind of game i saw (sorry for bad words but...fuck its awesome)

@Коля Калымага I highly doubt it'll be released, but I am still making maps for Dying Light 2. While the second chapter would be great, we never initially planned to make a part 2 to the map during development so there's not a finalised story to plan the next map off of. I have a few massive projects planned for DL2, so if you're interested you should check back into the mod.io for those every once in awhile.
