Description
A simple QOL patch that ensures the ImpalerArmour set fits in better among its fellow medium armor sets.

This patch can be added and removed at any time without effecting your save game if you want to see the changes.

To summarize, the 40% crossbow bonus has been reduced to 20% total spread between the hood and armwrap.

Acid protection has been removed from the headgear leaving only 100% dust and gas protection, you will still be able to receive 100% acid protection however it has now been spread out over the other armor pieces.

The rest of the armor values and skills have been brought more in line. I used Fog Mask, Plate Jacket, Plated Drifter Pants and Plated Longboots as a reference.

You will find the Impaler Armour set is still quite good! However it is no longer broken stat wise and should provide a balanced experience.

This patch must be placed below the original mod in your load order.

@profd. Better late than never. This mod doesn't edit Cut Efficiency at all. It doesn't need a NCE patch

Fantastic idea. Really wish it was compatible with UWE. This set is cool but too busted.

Say, is there any chance of extending this to the Rust Bandits mod? That mod uses this armour, but also some additional armour, some of which raises crossbow skill 1.5x (!).

This is just what I was looking for! I think the Impaler Armour fits really well into the Kenshi aesthetic, but its bonuses were definitely out of line. Thank you so much!
