EFE Buscarril SB-56 [Update Pending]

Notice, March 2024: An update for this mod is planned, and will bring it up to current standards. Please note that an estimated date cannot be given, since I can only work on mods in my free time. Thank you for your understanding.

Commonly known as Buscarril (railbus), built by Ferrostaal (MAN) in 1961. Several units were ordered for use in branch lines with low passenger demand, where using a locomotive with just 1 coach was too expensive. Since the 70's, almost all of these lines were closed. Nowadays it's only used in the Talca-Constitucion metre-gauge branch line, which still survives thanks to government subsidies, since it connects several small towns with no other modes of transport available to the regional capital. They'll be replaced by new trains made either by CRRC or Marcopolo in the future.

Did you know? According to a document from the Chilean Railway Heritage website[www.patrimonioferroviariochileno.cl] (from were I got most of the specs), the original price of these units was 185'000 and 123'350 Deutsche Mark for the Motor and Trailer cars respectively. I tried to price them as accurate as possible.

Base and decor colours (white and emerald in real life) can be customised.

Compositions**:

• Colorizable (Motor min1/max2 (one at each end), Trailer min1/max4)
  
• Fixed Color (same as above, but you can't change any colors)

*Different sources say the max. speed is either 60 or 80kph, I decided to stick with 80 for better usability.
**The normal composition is Motor+Trailer, sometimes it uses 2 trailers. I added the extra ones to make the mod more usable.
