BNSF C44-9W No. 4715

Description
(Requested by leziaeevra).
Requires Halton's GE C40-8W Pack.

BNSF 4715 was built by General Electric in 1997, two years after the Burlington Northern and Santa Fe merger. She was originally painted in Warbonnet colours, albeit with BNSF markings.

This locomotive is perhaps most well known for her involvement in the Kismet train collision of June 2006. She was one of 11 locomotives involved, and all but one were repaired and put back into service.

For a more detailed explanation on the Kismet incident, I suggest watching this video by Ryan’s Colorado Rail Productions:

4715 was repainted in BNSF’s H3 livery after repairs were completed, and this locomotive is still in service today. She is now 24 years old.
