Messerschmitt ME 262

On this day I present my second rendition of the infamous Messerschmitt ME 262.
This was the first practical jet fighter to be used by the Germans during the second World War,
where in the right hands it proved to be a deadly weapon.


During Takeoff do NOT hold S unless extremely short runway. You risk bumping the tail end against the ground. Aircraft will lift off by itself granted it is set to 70 throttle.

  • Altitude Hold System on Right Hand side of Cockpit



Controls

W - Pitch Down
S - Pitch Up
D - Roll Right
A - Roll Left
Left Arrow - Yaw Left
Right Arrow - Yaw Right

Up Arrow - Throttle up
Down Arrow - Throttle down

1 - Open/Close Canopy
2 - Raise/Lower Gear
3 - Toggle Breaks
4 - Toggle Sight
5 - Roll Stabilization

the front landing gear goes up but it wont go back down to land

The Me-262 was the first jet fighter and was also used as a bomber in some cases 542 allied planes were shot down by this fighter.
