About
Azalera is a hard prison using a custom tileset, freetime music and ground texture. All that to deliver a fresh expierence and make sure your eyes are pleased during your attempts to escape. You as a player wake up in a glass cell, left vulnerable to any snitches in neighbouring cells or guards that will be more than happy to ruin your innapropriate activities late at night. The whole prison is a complex located underground, sealed off from the outside world. If the 6 meters tall gates weren't enough, the mines will surely make your life harder. Try to stay at your best behaviour and look out which fence you're trying to cut through.

IMPORTANT FILES
Here are the files that you need to download in order for the textures to work. Don't worry, it's easy.
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ZNYcQbL5SXVGOW9riA6-hl_vYnCts2o9?usp=sharing
Azalera.cmap Download it and place it into "Custom Prisons" folder ONLY if the prison won't appear in prison selection menu after subscribing here. It's a common bug in this workshop, so there's nothing to worry about.
irongate.ogg Download it and place it in the music folder. You should replace the file when the notification about it comes up.
tiles_cus_sanpancho.gif Go to the "images" folder and replace the original tiles_cus_sanpancho with this one. The change will apply automatically.
ground_cus_jungle Go to the "images" folder and replace the new file with the original. Once again, the change will automatically apply.
If you're having problems with finding the correct folders, go to your steam library, right click The Escapists -> Browse Local Files. After that it's easy to find everything you need. Another note is that if any original files get lost, there's nothing to worry about. Just uninstall and install the game. They will appear again. If this does not happen, message me and I will send you the copy of my files.
Escape Methods
There are multiple ways to flee Azalera, five if you want a detailed number. To make the escape fresh each time, some can be accessed via multiple routes. Here they are, listed down below.
Riot Escape
Make your way through waves of guards and flee through their barracks.
Fence Escape
Through a sealed off warehouse, cut your way to another side of the loading bay and pass through the security checkpoint.
Vent Escape
Discover a nice place for holding stash of contrabands and while expanding the storage space, stumble upon a convenient ladder that will lead you to the Sniper Bridge guarding the cells. This is only the beginning. Fun fact: This is the author's favourite escape from all the ones he made.
Digging Escape
Find a way into a small guard station and make your way where hardly no one comes. This should be an ideal place for a little tunnel with your old, trusty, plastic spoon.
Canteen Escape
You have no idea how much stuff is lost there. And behind that glass window? Wonders to be discovered...

Hints for everything
Contraband? Around almost every contraband detector in prison is a way around. All it takes is some posters, maybe a small underground tunnel there... All you have to do, is think hard enough to bypass the security.
Cameras? Tired of carrying multiple toothpastes around to search every inmates desk on the map? How about you just move the desks closer to the exit? That should make your job easier.
Fences? Have you ever tried to cut a fence only to be surprised with 3000 Volts? Don't worry. Every fence should have a bright yellow warning sign, that will warn you about the danger of playing with sharp tools.

Special thanks
I wanted to thank Tob once again for making me interested in what I can do with textures and for play testing my early versions of this custom prison. Another big thank you goes to Flyro for fixing the transparent bug with my tileset, play testing the prison and giving me feedback on how to fix some stuff.

Another great map! I escaped on Day 14 via what I believe is the Fence Escape. One of my favourite escape routes I've done. Never felt tedious, awkward or cryptic, and even without a map I never bumped into any curveball item requirements last minute like I did with Dark Cavern's Riot Escape. I also really liked the layout of this prison. However, I felt like the glass gimmick was underused. People seeing through the glass and the cellyard being covered in it never affected anything. There's cameras in the cells so the glass seems pointless as you'll be spotted anyways. Even if there weren't the only time guards would ever use the glass is if they're already in the cellyard which they aren't too often. If there were like, areas around the cells that the guards frequently monitor allowing them to peek in without having to be in the cellyard, I feel like it would've used of the glass much better. Despite that, fantastic prison!

Great map, I probably got out with the hardest method (through vents), but still really fun :lunar2019grinningpig:

The Escapist's Workshop has this bug, where some maps won't download after clicking "Subscribe". If you can't download the prison the normal way, in the description I explained how to do it in another way. If there's still any problems I'll be happy to try and help
