Description
Designed and built by Spiff's Practical Engineered Solutions for the Weyland-Yutani Corporation, the Cadet Miner is an early survival game mining ship for space that can be built using material processed using a basic refinery and basic assembler. An integrated projector makes drydock repairs easy. Propulsion is provided by hydrogen thrusters that are supplied by two O2/H2 generators that provide significant range and runtime. Designed for evading hostile NPCs, acceleration is reasonably quick, even when fully loaded.

ENTIRELY VANILLA; NO MODS; NO DLC; PROJECTOR BUILDABLE IN SURVIVAL!

NOTES FOR BUILDING WITH A PROJECTOR IN SURVIVAL
See the last picture for the projector's configuration.
1. Build a small-grid projector on a rotor frame configured with a small-grid rotor head that's located on a powered grid (you may need to put two or three armor block spacers between the small rotor head and projector to provide vertical clearance).
2. Load the blueprint into the projector; click on the setting to retain the blueprint after construction is complete.
3. Build the blueprint.
4. When completed, grind away the rotor frame and small-grid rotor head, leaving the projector in place so future repairs can be easily made.

Oh I installed pam on my version. ripped out brake thrusters and added small hydro tanks then added 2 conjunction conveyors and then i added the thrusters back. To make it work you need to add 1 extra sensor and name it pam. 2 extra drills were added on top of the existing ones via conveyor. Now it works with pam in my version. I plan to test out ALL your blueprints that are miners and upgrade them/mod them to work with PAM. In my save each ship is unique so its easy to find them and where they are.

The O2/H2 generator should automatically load ice, but I've never tested it with PAM. Sorry.

well this one doesn't have any hydrogen tank soo setting it up for PAM is a challenge ..

I'm supposed to be kneeling, but it looks like anything but that!

sweet!

Yes, just select the drills and right-click to tunnel.

Can this dig its own tunnels or will it need additional drills put onto it?
