[Dizzy] Faces of the Rim - Dizzy Colors

Description
Dizzy Colors adds eye colors to RimWorld using Facial Animation by Nals . This mod is an add-on to: Faces of the Rim - Facial Animation .

Load "Dizzy Colors" below BOTH of those mods and you too can make your black eyes blue, or green, or gray sometimes, or brown!

Respects vanilla game red and gray eye color genes (thanks to Nal's programming, this is easy to access with xml).

You get: basic Rim Black, mystical Tribal Brown, indifferent Empire Blue, and envious Insectiod Green. There has been only a slight attempt to control the color distributions, as darker colors go into blackish, so this will be slightly more common.

Dizzy Colors uses the code of Facial Animation (by Nals) that can varies each color from dark to light, so sometimes a blue may be almost pale gray, or an intense deep, cold ocean blue. (RGB 0.25s to 0.85s- feel free to change those up)

In essence you will have infinite variety, I've even seen a few cases of violet colored eyes, although those are rare.

This mod is an add-on and not the complete mod you need- see dependencies.


SAFE to add to an ongoing game- your pawns eye colors won't change, but new pawns will start showing up with colorful eyes.

I bet it would a little UNSAFE to remove from an ongoing save in which you started to see colorful eyes appear, however.

v1.6 ready.
Updated to support the new eye shapes from the supported mod.
AND got rid of a further 33% of unneeded stuff, to shrink it even more. Performance not affected in any way, but still.

And yes it'll just work without coloring the new shapes for now. No red text should pop

Hey Dizzy, I have been disconnected from Rimworld for a while, I have updated the mod and added a few textures, please let me know if I have to change anything to make our mods work properly together (unless everything works perfectly which I assume it does). By the way, if it's ok with you I'm going to endorse your mod on the FOTR page and will most likely add it to my playthrough, This looks great!

Just checked and it's fine for v1.5 Although the dependent mod is not updated, that mod is FINE too- I went through the XML and DEFS for that. Everything is working OK.

Got rid of about 17 MB of unneeded textures (!!), added in vanilla friendly mouth shapes (not eyes, and other features) from https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2816938779 . Asked that author for permission but have not received word yet. I'll remove them if he's upset, but this how I use my mod on my own end personally at this point.

Further cleaned up the XML for efficiency..

Anyway,updated:
MASSIVELY improved. Now respects RED EYE, and GRAY EYE genes! Got rid of 75% of the unneeded textures, and code.

So simple once I thought about it....

Dizzy, it would be absolutely awesome if you can tie eye color to one of the eye color mods that came up!
