Leg Up (Gatorspin Edition)

Description
Leg Up is a personal expansion mod intended to extend, improve, and flavor Running With Rifles without changing too much of its original design. Included and incorporated into the campaign is the custom Necromorphs faction, with authentic Dead Space content.

The Gatorspin edition of Leg Up is the raw, uncut, straight-from-the-butcher version of the mod. No holds barred. No bones unbroken. All the screaming, sloppy code, and incoherent character models as Street James intended.

Notable features of Leg Up include:
- The Necromorphs*; Dead Space's space zombies from space, full of meat, rage, and heartburn.
- Altered dialogue; punctuation, cursing, and chatter unreasonably severe in tone.
- Sound tweaks; the AK-47 now has a punchier shot sound, tank cannons sound different, and some sneaky others.
- SCREAMING; altered death sounds, Broforce battle cries, and many horrible meat-things shrieking at the threshold of pain.
- Factionalization of rare weapons; AKS-74Us only for Brownpants, Stoner LMGs only for Greenbelts, and many more.
- New bot classes; assault troops and engineers.
- New weapons; the Bor, the Glock 86, and many "leaked" custom player character weapons.
- Custom player classes accessible only through data-mining and save-editing.

* The Necromorphs currently appear in campaign mode, but do not have their own final mission. In addition, they were only meant to be played against. As a player faction, they are only playable on a basic level, so the experience may prove underwhelming and/or hideously buggy.

Development of Leg Up has terminated and may or may not resume at any point from now until the heat death of the universe. The mod may end up crashy, feature-incomplete, or flatly unplayable depending on future updates. Bugfixes will be made when convenient, and should never be expected after a report. In addition, due to the age of the mod, some aspects of balance may be fossilized from previous builds of the base game.

Pushed an attempted fix based on Kirathel's report. It's not much of an update, but, if all goes well, it should at least work now.

the mod can be fixed by copying the benelli_m4 and benelli_m4_supp .weapon files from vanilla rwr, and putting them in leg up

this was because the mod was made before the addition of weapon firemodes, i believe

The screenshots are a combination of RWR's propensity towards ungodly stalemates, and the sheer count of bodies involved when fighting necromorphs.

This mod makes no direct changes to how blood is applied to the ground, or how much of it is made in the process. The only specific interaction it has with blood - off the top of my head - is that necromorph gore piles leave blood streaks when pushed or destroyed.

Fights against vanilla factions should be about as saucy as usual.

Might be just me, but when I see screenshots where the ground is painted red makes me lose interest. I have nothing against blood but this looks ugly IMHO.

Yea, more mods for this game!
