Here im gonna list all BETA features, pros and cons to me feel free to comment to add your opinion

Please keep in mind it is all BETA and things can be fixed/changed for full release but since it is in 2 month i don't expect any major change

Not for every players
This game is literally not made for every kind of players, the difficulty and the fact that is overly COOP/TEAM based will make this game a hell for solo players and those who don't know how to play properly shooters

You want to really enjoy the game you must have friends and playing with people who know about the game.
BOTS are the worst i ever seen in any game
Yes im not exagerating here a list of what i witnessed during my playtime

-They sometimes suicide over rooftop, molotov or anything in the scenery
-They rush into hordes and die
-They don't shoot all the time
-They never heal you
-They use the gatling guns in finales but cannot shoot anything and get stuck forever on it
-They don't help downed teammates if they are too far or even close sometimes
-They don't help pinned teammate at all
-They don't react when they face hordes or SI (unlike l4d where they run away)
-They take your free heal from healing station

Map design and campaign
There are 2 Campaign available with 4 level each, everything is quite similar to l4d beside that when you finish a campaign you get thrown in the next one with the same gear.

The while map design is pretty basics nothing memorable or new just some l4d modernized

There are event here and there like in l4d, alarm cars, crows and even explosive cars if you shoot 3 bullet in them..

You cannot go in the second campaign even tho you finished everything so my guess it is a whole "act" of 8 levels i don't understand that aspect of the game.
Sound
General sound is basic, not great not terrible, i personally enjoy it as it is.

After a while in game you can deferenciate all SI sounds even tho it is much harder to do than l4d franchise.

Good addition, when you shot somewhere you will attract zm around you and around the spot you shot, this is really enjoyable
Melee
Basic melee are really pointless, you must use a build with cards otherwise you won't go far in CC..

some cards like +50 melee damage or healing yourself each melee kills and stamina...

Melee build can be very strong kinda like any build after all you just need to get the right cards and fit into the meta.

I have test a build for much more damage and healing every kills, if you play properly it make you pretty much invincible as you heal all the time.
Continue system still the worst feature
Adding a continue system where you get kicked into the lobby if die more than 3 times was ok in 1995 but in 2021 it is not.

I would like to retry again and again as much as i want to practice, test different approach and strategy with my current team instead of getting each players ejected in their respective solo lobby.

Ragequiter can and shoul be be replaced by new players who random join games and this is how you can keep going in a game not just throwing everyone out!
Health system and Trauma system
So apparently you can have more than 100hp but you can also have less, my guess is if you get down too many times OR if you take too many damage overtime you lose your HP bar and health so i got myself in a situation where i had 40hp max, pretty much one shot if i get surounded and no health item could give me more exept one, that red case and it is very rare to find (saferoom or toolkit room) or using a specific card:
Here as you can see full red bar = what i can heal and half red and black is trauma i can't heal
Difficulty highly unbalanced
Yes the game is very challenging and YES it is a good thing BUT the difficulty is not balanced at all if you play first level of difficulty it will be too easy and when you go into the 2 higher difficulty you need a good team who can play for the "normal" and godlike team for the "nightmare", don't even think about soloing yet..

SI are overly unbalanced as well, Bruiser (charger like) and Retch (Boomer like) are ultra tanky, fast and deal lot of damage when everything else is just a walking joke even the gigantic oger is a pointless event always at the exact same spot in one unique map..

I noticed each infected has 3 different version for example a bruiser that punch on the floor and one who catch you or a retch that spit vomit and one who act like kamikaze (it's really hard to differenciate them when you are in the heat of action).

Edit after playtime i can differenciate at least one, the charger like:
-Bruiser weakpoint is behind the shoulder
-Tallboy weakpoint is in his neck on front

You have to go very slow and spend gold carefully each round in nightmare difficulty

In the highest difficulty you can meet fire zombie, poison zombie and armored zombie for example

Corruption card is what make your game more or less difficult
Versus is just a big joke
I loved the versus campaign system of L4D and i enjoy as well the Survival versus of L4D (too bad its full of bugs), as a versus player i can tell you here is a big joke:

-4v4 arena like the map is quite small
-The lobby map is bigger than actual maps
-Like in battle royales the bubble around the map get smaller every wave
-There are no bots to replace empty slots so you can play 1v4 and yes it happen very often
-If someone ragequit no one will replace him so you will be playing 3v4 and then 2v4 etc..
-You can select any infected and any class at any moment kinda like modded l4d servers
-You can upgrade your SI or the commons depending your score
-You play SI in 3rd person view and not 1st
-SI can regen their HP in the flies

Basically the game mode is really bad, i will push it further to learn more about it and i will update this guide if i get more interesting infos.

In the first screen shot you can see we are using only Stinger infected, this one is as mobile as a hunter and you can spam multiple time at once some sort of spitter shot that deal about 7 hp damage each time you hit, you can literally shot 3-5 time per seconds and all players can take this SI at the smae time. easy win..

HERE is dev answers about Versus campaign, one of the excuse is "you can do few match in 10-15min but when you need to make a whole campaign in few hours is just a lame excuse to not to that gamemode to me

Lobby system is great!
The lobby system is not like L4D at all, you are in a free area where you can customize your deck and profile and there is even a shooting range with all guns ingame to allow you to test and practice them it is really a thing that should exist in every game!

Matchmaking is the same as L4D
Since there is no ranking or whatever system, i suppose it's normal in a beta but there are no clue at all that anything will be implemented so you will just meet randoms either veteran or beginners and deal with it.

Also i found trolls who teamkill already, blocking players is easy but i couldn't kick him even tho i have the option, i suppose again that a bug in beta and will be fixed in the full release.
Guns and attachements ranking
Yeah every guns has different colors and are ranked with more or less high stats you will be able to notice in the lobby when you go get the guns they are all purple ranked *50 wich is max for guns, but if you add up attachements to them the stars ranking will grow and add up as you can see in screenshots below.

-Grey
-Green
-Blue
-Purple

-Red is a a negative color for attachement (give you malus)
-Yellow is legendary attachements


That are the colors ive met ingame for now.

Attachements also have colors and ranking system.

As you can see stars rarity don't make the gun necessarily better
Deck, cards and profile
Same as the Alpha version, nothing really changed maybe different cards and one deck for campaign and one for versus

Im not 100% sure yet but cards seem to be stackable? or not all of them? test must be done.

You can unlock every cards by adding them to your custom deck even if it show as locked, bugged i suppose but at least i can test them all. (FIXED) you can take them but won't be able to use ingame

Cards seems to be locked tho so in the real game you will need to play to unlock, the more you play the more you gain ingame currency and you will unlock things, it seem to be quite long tho, a full campaign run will give me enough for one row wich doesn't contain only cards (first/second screenshot).

You will hire the card in deck order, no randomization.

You can also customize your profile and your spray, no point nothing to gain from it just estethic features and good way to show off some hard unlockable stuff

Cheat already
Yes as expected in every games, there are cheater, speedhack mostly but also that, as you can see we are 4 players + 3 bots so 7 people in one lobby wich is a glitch btw

What else?
-Limited revive kinda like l4d black and white system
-There are new infected (wall thingy aka sleeper) and the screamer is more rare now
-Oger still completly useless feature
-Getting into a random game and having only the basics gear of the characters is a pain (melee only for Holly or evangelo)
-No legs in first person
-No dismembrement
-No matchmaking (yet?)
-Gun variety and attachements is really great
-SI spawn rate is average (sometimes you meet no SI for 5min and sometimes you get a dozen)
-Common spawn rate is good compared to alpha
-Impossible to turn on/off flashlight it's all automatic in certain area
-Impossible to remove attachements, so if you find a fresh new deagle with a scope that you don't want..eh
-If you get pinned and no one help you, you will die real quick
-Since melees are useless without deck build you need the bash knife card, yes a knife bash that one shot zm and not a axe or machete
-2 Campaigns with 4 Levels each
-I can't change keybinding to whatever i want (expect to be fixed)
-Revive button is glitched i can't always revive (expect to be fixed) (seem to be only mom character)
-If you let zm into saferoom where there are NPC they will attack them and the NPC look like they try to shoot with some invisible guns
-If you don't delete/finish your lost/abandonned runs you will reach a limit at some point where you canno't create run anymore, you will have to delete them.

While the 2 first are fun and can be done with random. The nightmare one is just insane, i don t if we need more upgrade or what but it s just not fun. I will skip the launch of the game 60usd is too much for this type of game.

sick post ngl i dont see reasonable takes on games like ever but steam does have better gamers. only thing id add is the guns are missing some things they have irl nothing fancy just basics of reloading and bolt animations but overall theyre fine. glhf

Man That is a good post hope they listen and at least try to do a little to make it better. I still play L4D and Probably will for a lot longer.

This is a nit-pick on the game but I'm gonna say it. Is there really a point in having the player explore the starting camp and have different people you can approach (Card Purchase, Campaign, Versus, etc.) when just pressing TAB gives you all the options instantly? Not to mention even if you do go to a specific NPC for one of those things, it still gives you the option to select one of the others. It just doesn't make sense why they'd take the time to make that a part of the game when really you get nothing out of walking around the camp, with the exception of practicing equipment and weapons in the training area, which at that point you might as well just make that area the only thing the player can do there, but everything else just seems like a waste of time.

Another way to recover trauma that I found is to use the charitable soul card and heal a teammate with a medkit, you will recover some trauma. Everybody having that card and healing each other is probably a meta thing.

Popping off attachments is a real pain, you need to find an of the same class as the one you want off in the shop or on the map, make sure your secondary doesn't have an open slot, have the new weapon in the same area, and (the worst part) make sure your team doesn't instantly loot your fancy attachment as you run around to get the new weapon.

Yeah I barely change guns along the campaign now I'm using rifle mostly to test out a melee/rifle build
