Description
Main Use - MMA - B.J. Penn
(Front Grapple - Large)

On May 24th, 2008, BJ Penn defended the UFC Lightweight title against Sean Shirk in the main event of UFC 84. Sherk, a proficient wrestler, was expected to focus on taking Penn down. However, much of the fight was waged on the feet, with Penn's boxing giving him the edge. Late in the third round, Shirk stood with his back to the cage, and appeared to be moving forward for a takedown attempt when Penn ran forward, leaping in with a knee to the face that would knock his opponent back, leading to the stopapge victory for the Progidy.

The Penn Flying Knee has a chance to draw blood and earn a striking CRITICAL, and it places the attacker evenly between the upper and lower body of the downed defender, giving an even option to follow up with the ground move of your choice.

The Hughes moves were actually next on my to-do list, and the Newton Bomb and running Trigg slam (and the Farmaconda) were the ones I was thinking of!

Awesome stuff! Really enjoy the lore behind your moves, too. A lot of what made BJ special doesn't translate well into Movecraft (how would you do his guard passes, his one legged hop out of a takedown attempt, etc?), but you totally nailed this knee.

Ever going to do Matt Hughes? His slam of Newton is historically significant and might be suited for this kind of animation. His slam on Trigg, too, after getting the low blow.
