I use Nvidia Geforce Experience to capture my game clips nowadays (used OBS back on my Ultrawide monitor). Capture settings of 20Mbps at 60fps for most things (used 10Mbps back on my Ultrawide). Not sure what compression codec its using under Nvidia Experience but I presume h264 to MP4 format files. To answer your previous question, for me 20Mbps is a decent sweet spot, any higher and you start getting diminished returns and bloated file sizes, not a great thing for just wallpapers (YT etc yes). Also a single wallpaper will go under 2 or 3 compression cycles (thus reducing the overall quality), first being the original recording, then most often edit the clip with a professional video editor to make it loop the best I can and last, uploading to the workshop which I presume will have it's own possible compression cycle for any video wallpapers. PS, I just UL another Ascent wallpaper, still some artifacts mainly due to so much RTX lighting.

Hi again. Can you tell me what your settings for compressing the videos are? h264, bitrate etc?
