Description
Guarantee a key each floor

A simple mod that guarantees finding at least one key per floor. If you beat the boss and still haven't picked up a key, a key will spawn in the boss room!

No more holding R because you didn't get a single key in the first two floors!

NOTE: You cannot "game the system" by intentionally avoiding keys on the floor and then picking them all up after the boss. If you get an extra key from the boss room, the first key you pick up afterwards on the same floor will be taken away from you. Consider it a "borrowed" key, and your debt is cleared when you go to the next floor.

This mod should work for both AB+ and Repentance.

as a heads up for anyone using this mod, it can completely soft-lock you in the Knife Piece 2 sequence in case a room requires you to pick up a key to progress.

@Tritoch yes, it still works. No changes or updates to the mod were necessary despite the game being updated a few times in the meantime. I'm still using it myself.

@Fiebre whoops, thanks! That's a case I hadn't thought of. I'll make sure to always grant bought keys in the next update.

I used the key that the boss dropped to open the store and in the store there was a key which I bought, but I was still discounted by your system
