Excessive to the point of complete impracticality, the Compensator can project a 10 kilogram metglas projectile at a blistering 15.5 kilometers per second - which results in anything downrange having a very bad day. This would be an impressive feat if the weapon system wasn't more massive than a stock missile schooner, more expensive than a stock laser frigate, and ultimately less useful than either.
