What is a CS:GOs players biggest dreams? Reaching Global? Unboxing a knife? Going on a long win streak?

The idea behind this pattern was to adapt the pattern for the AWP | BOOM by Valve, to comic style thought bubbles with typical dreams a CS:GO player might have when playing the game.

You can find four “dreams” inside the pattern:

1. GLOBAL
Pretty self-explanatory, the wish to reach the global elite rank is surely one of the most iconic things about CS:GO.

2. 1 TAP
Getting crispy 1 Taps has to be on of the most satisfying things about Counterstrike and is something many players dream of achieving in a way Scream used to do.

3. CLUTCH
Clutching a 1-5 or 1-4 situations is exiting and gets your hearts pumping, so it was a no-brainer to feature it on the pattern. Clutching surely is something most CS:GO dream to achieve.

4. WWWWW
Getting to a long win stream is really really hard and something most players just dream of to achieve to reach the next highest rank quicker. Since winning is often shortened as “W”, I represented the win streak as five W.

You can also find one Nightmare on the pattern, which you can see in the lower left corner. The difference in the art style here is, that the dream is exploding.

5. DERANK
Deranking, or long down ranking, is when your Matchmaking rank is reduced because you lost too many games. This is the classic nightmare of every CS:GO player that tries to reach the highest ranks and ruins the dreams of reaching them.
