Report a translation problem
Then, every time you start the game, it'll crash telling you there's a missing folder in a specific directory. Go to that directory and create a folder named exactly that. For me, it was the SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\1162750\2572087874\V61 directory. I had to add - "campaigns", "examples", and "saves" folders there.
Lastly, you need to go into each of the text files referenced by Max Payne below, the levels, and change the "BONUS:" to "BONUS_ADD:".
With that done, the game started, complained that the mod was out-of-date, but worked anyway.

I had to edit squire to 01_PIONEER.txt and so on. I at least got the game to launch. Testing this out now to see if it works.
