This is my first ever map and it is based upon a heightmap near the town of the same name in the hill country of central Texas, USA, just west of the city of Austin. Other inspiration comes from the lowland areas of eastern Texas and the cypress swamps across the southeastern US. That being said, this map has very little flat area, so if you're looking for an easy, flat map, then maybe this isn't for you. If you want a challenging build with lots of hills, then give it a shot and please tell me what you think!

Some liberties have been taken with the map, so it’s not a direct representation and you will find that you already have a significant amount of power available for your use. Three dams have already been added to the map, but they are primarily cosmetic should you choose to delete them. The largest of the three dams incorporates the Doel Nuclear Plant main building if you wish to leave that power generation in place.

The eponymous Marble Falls are only visible from the memorial bridge when the water level of the river is lowered. I have to also put in a special thanks to wvnl for their amazing "Bluebells" asset. The Texas state flower is the Blue Bonnet and can be found throughout the hill country and these bluebells do a fantastic job of providing that aesthetic on the map.

I recommend using either the 25 Tile or 81 Tile mods, though neither are absolutely necessary. That being said, some of the featured areas of the map are outside of the central 25 tiles such as Dam #2, which is the title thumbnail, and a nod to the Caddoan Mississippian Native Americans (burial mounds), and the location of the actual town of Marble Falls which is on the north side of the main bridge crossing the Colorado (main) River.

Outside Connections: Fittingly for central Texas, there is no shipping available, but there are four plane connections, two rail connections, and four highway connections in/out.

All screenshots have been taken using the Cubemap Replacer Mod w/Sunflowers Cubemap, The Marble Falls Theme, and Relight2Average LUT.

WARNING: This map has a lot of detailing and you will also need the Unlimited Trees Mod. If you wish to drastically cut down on the number of props used, do not subscribe to the Thick Mountain Grass asset.

Please comment if fixes need to be made!

Change 1 - 14 Aug 21- Edited the actual Marble Falls so that they render in game and added water spawn points to try and help control flow for two of the smaller streams/rivers.

Change 2 - 18 Aug 21 - Added a number of assets that were listed as missing under Loading Screen Mod. All have been included in the 1-Click Collection as well as the mandatory items list. Almost every item was not something actually used on the map except for the Theme Decals and Railway Power Substation. I can't find the "vineyard rack" as an assets, however, so that may show up as missing.

It looks really good, but unfortunately it cannot be used in other maps:8bithaa:

@annihilatetheinfant We have land there and it's where my wife and I are planning on retiring! Small world!

It's not an asset... I made it with props and Procedural Objects specifically for the map.

What is the name of the dam asset in the map?

DUDE! That's my old hometown! I typed MF in the mods just to see what'd pop up and damn, this is sick. Definitely gonna try it out. Nice work! :)

A piece of wild America to discover. You can feel the designer's infatuation with his work and the spark is immediate.
Thank you for this wonderful landscape.

@XaraTheImpaled - I'm not sure why it's saying so many assets are missing. I've gone through it quite thoroughly and the few that weren't in the one-click have been added. Could you give me an example? Someone else mentioned a UH-1 missing, but that's not even on the map.
