High-performance multi-purpose missile. The ambitious design requirements of long range, high kinematic performance, and high striking power in a universal weapons system resulted in a long development cycle, compounded by numerous delays.
Although the resulting “omni-directional” multi-purpose missile makes some concessions to striking power and capacity, it nonetheless achieves high performance in a lightweight package — a feat unmatched by any other microform missile.
